Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Nor me. Doubt I'd manage the one day.

Anything over 1400 stalls my weight loss. I'm most successful between 1200-1400. My metabolism is shot due to decades of yoyo dieting.

I'm currently on 1500 cals as set by MyFitnessPal. It lets me eat more if I've burned calories through exercise though... I can never fathom whether I can eat those or if they were already taken into account in the 1500 recommendation.

Either way, last time I actually stuck to using the app, I lost weight...

I never set mine to eat back some exercise calories. Think I more than enough anyway. Just need to add in healthy snacks or add more for lunch.

That's a nice display LG, plenty of info.

I don't add my exercise calories either. That wouldn't work for me as I'm just as hungry on a rest day.

My calorie limit was set by my previous gym instructor based on an estimate of my BMR that the gym's body analyser calculates.

I don’t eat exercise calories hence aiming for 1800/day to keep a steady balance. Reality is I have around 1400-1500 more when I have wine or savoury snacks.
