I work from home and is def why I lost a lot of weight during Covid. Work we always had a cupboard full of sweets/chocolate/biscuits. Covid also allowed me to more than double my running which I’ve pretty much kept up but now my body is used to that level of exercise. While I have all the snacks at home I rarely snack - I’ve got a box of my favourite mince pies sat on the table next to me now and there’s still 4 in there and I bought them in November! At work it was too easy to have a 2nd breakfast or hot meal at lunchtime, trip to the pub for any excuse for a celebration Problem I have now is I eat homemade food, rarely snack so it’s hard to make changes to get/keep weight off. |

Finished eating for today . 386 calories left but I’ve had plenty. Made better protein choices too.

I’ve just ordered some ‘fat jeans’ from Amazon ready for a work trip next week. My current jeans fit, but they are tight on the legs and, according to Nic, make me look ‘chunky’

I’ve had fun ( sad I know ) barcode scanning my favourites just to see how much calories things are, right down to my favourite weekend tipple. I know they are calories wasted but it will help me keep in check and feel less deprived if I cut it all out.

I can’t cut out all the nice things it’s about finding a balance for me. I had planned a protein shake but failed so cals were very low. Just had some toast and bit of cheese (needed using up) but what a hit on my protein taking the smoothie out. 😳must try harder. |

IMHO nothing food wise should be banned, I'm able to eat whatever I want as long as I stick to my macros. That's lead to me not eating the less suitable foods but by choice. By saying you 'can't' have something, makes you want that even more, and can prey on your mind and head some folk straight to a binge. I've dropped another pound, my target is a pound a week, no more. |

I’ve still to get my head round macros. Stepped on the scales today just to check and down a 2lbs. I know that won’t to a true weight loss and will be water but at least starting writing things down has made me see where I need to improve on the carbs/protein/fat ratios. |

LG - that's a good start, and whatever it is it's 2 pounds gone.
