I don’t count calories. I fast 16-18hrs a day then eat whatever I fancy. It works for me 😁.

When you fast is that just food or don’t you drink anything either. Not sure if I could although usually Mon to Fri there is nothing to eat or drink after 8.pm and could easily wait till 9.am to eat again next day.

How do you workout your 'normal' calorie intake? Is it just gender and height?

Trying 14:10 at the moment, and generally if I have plenty of veg/salad and nuts as snacks I seem to do OK. I'm keeping bread and potatoes minimal and avoiding UPFs. We've still got a few bits of Christmas food, but I can ration it. I'm down about 1lb from before the weekend. My main challenge is that when work gets busy I don't seem to have the brain capacity left to prepare anything that isn't cheese sandwiches.

Sorry 14:10 , is that 14 hours fast and 10 hours eat or vice versa?

Yep, so I had breakfast at 9.30 this morning and finished my tea at 7.30 this evening - this feels manageable and is supposed to be enough to give your system a rest.

And had lunch a bit late, after the gym, and a snack before the gym.

That sounds a lot like what I’m already doing so might need to make more of an effort to filter more protein and stuff into my actual meals. I had a protein yogurt tonight after my meal so that’s a start 😂😂

I tend to naturally fast 10-12hrs a day (when I’m not having a cheeky glass of wine)
