Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

A stone would be a start for me, then another half a stone. When lockdown ended I started putting weight on then added loads when I couldn't train due to illness and injury.

My 6 week gym review is booked for the 9th January, that's why I'm working at it now.

I’ve weighed in this morning and would be happy with a 10lb loss.

up a lb! I'm not making a serious start until next Monday - too much rich food in the house and stuff going on before then.

an average 1lb a week for the following 21 weeks or so would be a perfect stretch target for me

That 7kg I mentioned three pages back ... add a bit extra :-( Ran a 10K yesterday at 80.8 kg, possibly the highest I've run a race at even if not quite an all-time high).

I'd set my goal here at 73 kg so so very nearly got there - although that's still 3-5 kg above an actual racing weight. Have a HM planned for five weeks time so hopefully a shade lighter by then.

Meanwhile, off to the gym and pool.

Another vote for 6th January. Went to the gym today and have been walking about six miles a day, surprisingly my NYE trousers fit comfortably despite the mince pies. I will be really ready for salad and soup by next Monday.

I’ve loitered around here from time to time but I really want to make an effort next year to get my post Covid weight back. That is circa 10lb for me but I’d be happy with 7 initially.

I’m scheduled to have bunion surgery in January if I can get back to pre holiday weight.

Def ready for proper meal times and proper food again.

Well getting Norovirus halfway through the 31st meant me and the loo celebrated NY together. Wouldn't recommend the experience but one plus for this thread is that I have lost 5lbs in 2 days!! My best start to my annual weight resolution!
