After a week of feeling really tired and eating constantly I have just discovered I have shingles. Sadly this means at least a couple of days on the sofa and probably comfort eating I am resigned to a gain but haven't weighed in!

No change for me despite a calorific weekend of comfort eating. Can feel a right grump settling in so need to get out pounding pavements instead of pounding on the doors of KFC...

I enjoyed the summer hols with the family of course. But now, I have midweek days off to myself again for fat burning. Today will be a short run, long swim, then a bit bike ride until daughter comes home from school. The hoovering can wait

Thank goodness someone else posted. I have had shingles and then post viral fatigue for 3 weeks now (4 if you include the week of tiredness before the shingles appeared). I have done NO exercise since 26th Aug and still not really ready for any. I've spent about 3 weeks eating constantly but my energy is coming back and I need to get the eating under control again. Back using MFP but on maintenance calories (still only 1370 :() Will gradually build up exercise again. SO far I have only gained 2 lbs which isa shocker cos I expected about half a stone.

Star x
my busy spell is over - and though I promised to start training last week - it hasnt quite happened yet.
at the weekend my older sister (who just had a baby last year) said she had a pair of jeans for me - when I asked her why she wasnt wearing them - she said that she needed littler ones now - so basically I am back to being the fat sister.

Sorry to hear that HP, take it steady. C'mon Star you can get going again I'm doing a bit of running after a long injury. I have cycled all summer which I love, but it's too easy to stop at coffee shops on bike rides and cake is my downfall. Guess what MIL brought back from her hols - more cake.

Star - I was always the fatter sister. My sister was always quite skinny and could eat anything. Now we are about the same size tho which is good cos we can borrow clothes occasionally too. I got thinner she got a wee bit bigger - its perfect right now!
