I know I'm totally shocked its only 3lbs but I can see it creeping up and I'm not happy. Sadly I went and had scampi and chips for lunch today If I do MFP again I'll only have 1200cals perday without exercise Just not sure I'm motivated for it at the moment.

Stick with the 2/2's and the other training you're doing star and that'll soon go.

I need to lose around a stone. Admittedly, that would get me back to where I was when I needed to lose about a stone ... but *that* was the lightest I've been in the last thirteen years or so.
I've not been running as much over several months now and seem to have confirmed my suspicions that whilst running didn't really make me lose weight, it was preventing me put on extra. .

Morning I'll be on here from next Monday, when I get back from my current work trip, also with the aim of losing a stone

I had forgotten all about this thread and thought fetch was trying to tell me something by singing me up for notifications I could do with dropping half a stone at the moment but totally not motivated right now. Dog walking, climbing, occasional runs/MTB rides are the only thing saving me from piling it on at the moment.
I have decided to make small changes to my diet etc rather than my usual - I'm going to get really healthy - which lasts about 2 weeks. So far:
reduced caffeine to 2/3 drinks per day, herbal stuff or water instead increase water intake through herbal teas and drinking more actual water Yoga (almost) daily
Next step - no snacking in car (unless it is healthy).

I'm on the "lose a stone" regime too. I'm doing the 5:2 diet again. It worked for me a couple of years ago, when I lost a stone and a half. Want to get under 13st. Was 12st 9lbs last Thursday. Not weighing myself until this Thursday.

Would it be overly pedantic, Nick, to point out that 12st 9lbs is under 13st already ;-)?
