Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

A north wind signalled its intention of strengthening in the coming days, so I sought the shelter of the prom and coastal park tonight. The finest of drizzle was quite welcome and a mile-long loop to the baths before heading inland concluded an enjoyable outing.

Nice running everyone and more lovely pics Bowman 🇸🇪

Today was my favourite run of the week - the long run. Plan was to include 3 x 3k at half marathon pace with 1 min rest between each. Did a nice 20 miles with the HMP bits between miles 5-11 (ish) and mostly on The Black Path - part of the old Midland Railway line so hopefully replicating the terrain etc of my April marathon that is also on the old midland railway line but further south. Enjoyed the run pace was good without stressing the legs to much and the mind was in the game.

Thanks for the comments on the fall. Few bits sore yesterday that were not sore after it happened but moving ok I think. Tender wrist, knee and ankle (cuts heeling well) May try a run today if not then tomorrow.

Good running and updates as always on this thread folks!

Good news

Double run day 5 miles easy in the morning on the pit in cold bright sunshine with a biting wind

5 miles quicker on the road in the evening but didn’t seem as cold.
