Off before 10 last night: mild, breezy, a 'low' high tide and a few sharp showers. By the incoming sea, wide sheets of damp beach *could* have been masquerading as sinking sand - the sort of excitement I can probably do without! Lakes, prom, turn at docks wall, then steady going along the beach before heading back on trails. 1 hr

11.5 miles mixed road/off road. Made more interesting by the fact by the time I had finished i had been awake for around 30 hours (got up 0600hrs Friday up all day worked Friday night started run around 1100hrs Saturday) core work, Nordic hamstring curls and yoga before bed. Nice run kept HR pace and perceived effort in desired zone and blood sugars steady for run.

5 miles on one of my oldest routes with each mile quicker even with the killer of “Doctors hill” at 4.5 miles ( so called because I pass surgery and usually hit a high hr !) The run has given me hope and renewed faith 🙂
