13 miles mainly along the chesterfield canal and around a lake just off the canal. Very muddy in places. Ran to lower end of long/medium long HR zone. Really nice run. Yoga and core done as well.

10pm and a westerly wind had had most of the day to top 40mph, gusting to 55mph. Boggier still by the lakes and park: the swans seemed to form a line perpendicular to the beach and facing the wind. No getting sandblasted tonight, even with 400 yds or so on the beach but then I retraced my setps back to the start. 1 hour. Quite enough! :-o

7 miles steady mixed road and off road, quite muddy in places but fun.
Brought me nicely to 50 miles for the week but annoyingly 99 miles for the month so far :-)

10pm last night: conditions could hardly be more different from the weekend. A dusting of snow, enough to whiten the grass, light breeze and 1 deg C. Clear skies & a crescent moon. Down prom, docks, coastal park, a beach stretch, then return via baths, beach, prom & park. 61 min .

My word it was chilly. -3, feels like -5, meant my hands were frozen solid by the tiome I got to work, despite wearing gloves. Might have to dig out my ski gloves!

3.5 miles in a town up the road. I thought it might be less icy than at home. It wasn't.
