There was a piece about Britain's temperate rain forests on Radio 4 this morning, at least one in the Lake District, Velociraptor Autumn shades cheer me up - accounts of 22-mile runs fill me with admiration, riggys99 10pm tonight. Down prom, alongside docks and between lakes. Tide in a hurry: will reach full length of prom. From baths, prom, beach and up past the boating lake. Not a soul to be seen. 63 min.
