Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

5.4 miles, windy throughout and lashing down with rain for the last couple of miles.

Today the weather was neither a fret, yr, nor haar, but simply foggy. Managed a tempo run, following my watch's suggestion.

V mild weather over most of the UK, and for a few days now. There was a piece about Britain's temperate rain forests on Radio 4 this morning, at least one in the Lake District, Velociraptor Autumn shades cheer me up - accounts of 22-mile runs fill me with admiration, riggys99 :)

10pm tonight. Down prom, alongside docks and between lakes. Tide in a hurry: will reach full length of prom. From baths, prom, beach and up past the boating lake. Not a soul to be seen. 63 min.

Annoyingly rough start on my track session turned out to tell me that my

โ€œI canโ€™t be bothered to run fast today speed, but Iโ€™ll do the rest of the intervals easyโ€ speed, was much faster that I thought :)

Out and back rather than the circular route Iโ€™d planned as it looked really spooky in the pine copse the track goes through. Turned round and ran back.

Pleasant enough 7 miles. It was warm and overcast and I wore too many clothes.
