Hey!

I'm week 5 into learning how to run and did today's session twice as I was so close to a 50 mile run month and wanted the badge!

it felt really great! it was cold but not horrific and there was nothing wet or windy and the sun was glorious, looking out now it's snowing pretty heavily! lucky escape!

I had a lovely run this morning. I ran with a friend and we had a chatty, easy run. The miles seem so much shorter when you’re chatting away.

Jono.
Well done nicky.

4 miles for this morning = chilly, but not baltic.

Swittle: Great photo of Sandal Castle and Pugneys. The rugby club is now being used a Covid-19 vaccination centre. My Dad went there for his on Jan 18th.

Breeze strengthened from SE tonight but I got warm enough seeking out the drier going. The beach was fine, even though there was much flotsam from last week's high tide. Shy of 5 miles.

Blizzard: thank you. Great to hear that a place where I spent many happy hours has found a valuable function. :)

Lovely chatty run for 5k with a friend and then I carried on for another hilly 3k as she had to get home. Good weather for running if still chilly. Missing my 'winter training' in Spain.

Snow overnight and this morning. Now using 'Yaktrax Pro.' grips on the soles of my trainers. They gave me lots of confidence running on the snow and slush. Ran 3m through the park; a winter wonderland. It was lovely to see the children on their sledges enjoying themselves.
