I really struggled today. I've felt a gradual deterioration since December and it seems to be reflected in the VO2Max reported by my watch. It has fallen from 47 to 37 L/kg/min.
However, the company was good and the weather was fairly perfect.

Snow almost gone by afternoon. 6m in and around park. Lots of big puddles and some small flooded areas. Very enjoyable run in the cool, fresh air.

Very annoying run this morning. Ran for 12m in persistent heavy rain, only to find that my Garmin had not stored the data. When I clicked on 'Runs' and then clicked 'Todays Run' a message said "No data go run." A real First World problem, but still annoying !

Harumph! ^ :(

The first half of last night's run was more enjoyable than the second. Soggy trails gave way to firm beach but then, insistent rain ensured I was soaking wet through inside out as well as outside in. :-o And in my newly washed and dried shoes too! 53 mins, give or take. I don't do garmin.

Well, I enjoyed that. A nice 10km around windswept lanes. Would be nice if drivers took more care and pedestrians stuck to facing oncoming traffic.

Well done GP. People don’t seem to know about facing oncoming traffic nowadays.

Another 5k for me this morning. Gradually feeling better

A chilly but enjoyable hour's run last night, the Beast from the East blowing sideways up to Burbo Bank and on the return beach leg.

First run over the hour since July last year. :)
