Newport Half Marathon was over 600 metres short last year bbc.co.uk The report says: "Phil Cook, of the Association of UK Course Measurers, re-measured it after runners questioned the distance. Mr Cook said he could not pinpoint a specific location where an error was made by organisers." which all sounds a bit familiar, although I think that it was down to how the route was set on the day, not how it was measured. |

Yep, we all new on the day, always thought my 3:03 was really a 3:05 or 3:06. Added to the baggage fiasco this year, and the fact it has grown too much for my liking, then won't be back in 2017 |

So my pb of 3.11 is more like 3.14 and this years time of 3.16 is more like 3.14 because it was measured long this year !????? Is London 26.2 ??
