Definitely what it's about.

I was due to play in a mixed doubles game today but it was cancelled due to the forecast. It didn't really rain until this evening.

Hopefully I'll get a game tomorrow even though the course will be soggy.

Very much so, Lammo.

Played like an idiot who never swung a club before this morning. Was out with the dog & 2 good mates. Doesn't get much better.

Managed 18 holes in the dry this morning. 4 over par nett. One lost ball, one OOB, and a few poor shots around the green.

But there were more than enough good shots to give me hope.

Tough day on the course today in mixed weather. Woodbridge Golf Course, Forrest Course, is worth checking out and good value for money if you’re in Suffolk.

Carded a potentially record high score including a 13, so I’ll quickly be forgetting that score

I've just played and won a doubles semi final.
We went 2 down quite early on but managed to get back to all square after 9.
Then something happened and I had a crazy purple patch and we won 3 and 2.

Disappointing knock for me yesterday, 29 points / gross 94 after opening with 2 pars. There's always next week :-)

Back to normal today. Started with a 9 and didn't really get into it.

We played a friendly Vets match away at Whalley today. My partner and I didn't play particularly well but if I had a bad hole, he played well.

We were 7 up after 9 and eventually won 7&6. We carried on and played a mini 6 hole match, which we won. They didn't win a single hole.
