We have a society at work, seems to be based around HQ though, and that's on your island not mine I'm not carrying a 7 wood, but do have a new 5 wood, which i love very much, and a new (to me) 20 degree hybrid, which seems to work quite consistently, so i feel covered in that space. (I also treated myself to a new 3 wood earlier in the year as well). In fact, for the first time i'm pretty happy with all my clubs, and don't covet anything else currently. I need new shoes, they aren't wide enough for 3 rounds in 3 days when walking, which i only do once a year, but you know. I also want a new bag and trolley Do people have electric trolleys? Worth the money?

They swear by them though. I'll be honest - the effort saved must be tiny because pushing seems pretty easy to me but like I say, I feel like I'm in the minority. Better ways to spend - what - 700 quid? Happy to hear your 5w/4h combo working well. I couldn't make a 3 hybrid work for me (and have long since given up with 2- and 3- irons), so the 7w was a swap for that.
XB Aug 2023 1:54pm, 1 Aug 2023 16,498 posts	0 XB I've got an electric trolley; it definitely helps on the hills around this part of Lancashire. It's a HillBilly compact which cost me £20. I bought a lithium battery for £110. The trolley is as basic as they come which means repairs and replacement parts are a cinch. I also got a new 3 wood recently and it's made a big difference in getting near the greens on the par 4s. I have a new-ish hybrid which gets a lot of use to get me back on the short grass. I haven't played for a week and am getting twitchy. Unfortunately the course is closed and, looking, at the forecast, is likely to remain so all week.

Nice little track that one 👌🏻. And, electric trollies are the business.
