I'm seeing Springsteen on Saturday and Blur on Sunday too, Diogenes Springsteen is pretty much the only one left on the bucket list of 'bands / artists I very much want to see but haven't so far' I made years ago. I'm very excited! But even before that, Pulp at Finsbury Park this Saturday, which should be great too |

Joe1970 I saw The him on the Tunnel Of Love tour which was, amazingly, 35 years ago on June 25th 1988! setlist.fm It was the best concert I'd been to until I saw Blur in Hyde Park in 2009 |

I first saw Springsteen on the original tour for The River album in 1981 and most recently on the tour celebrating the 35th anniversary of The River album! He's probably the artist I've seen most, but the prices and other conflicting events mean I will miss this tour. |

I saw Brooce in 1985 at Wembley, Born in the USA tour, a couple of weeks before Live Aid. More recently at Glasto 2009, where I felt he didn't really "get" the crowd and played some obscure stuff when he should have gone all-in with the crowdpleasers. I think I have seen him in Hyde Park as well. I wish I had seen his solo Broadway show. This year I was put off by the high prices and the fact he is in Hyde Park (sound is usually crap and there are lots of VIP / corporate junket types dampening the atmos). Slightly regretting it now and recently looked at other European cities on the tour but couldn't make the dates work. Also slightly regretting not getting Pulp tickets but, again, was put off by the venue. |

I remember seeing Springsteen at Roundhay Park in 1985. Those were the days when you could hang around listening outside knowing that they would open the gates after the first couple of songs. Saw Michael Jackson and Madonna the same way.

After saying last year that I would never go to a big stadium/park gig again, I am going to 5 of them in the space of about 6 weeks. I suspect that Springsteen will go on for ever, but I did think this might be the last chance to see him. After that, small gigs only. |

Saw Bruce 5 years ago or so. Stays on so long that I missed a couple of my favorite songs due to not being able to avoid toilet breaks (obviously alcohol involved)
