HowFar?
It must have been around 2009 or 2010.

A quick search on SetlistFM shows them playing at O2 Ritz (with the bouncy dancefloor) in November 2009!

Slow Readers Club tomorrow at Scala which is probably my favourite London venue, based on the fact that I've seen some great acts there, its a cracking venue and its 2 mins from KX station.

Its the last gig of the year for the Gigtastic club which includes me, Chief and Hendo and sometimes a guest, last time it was RuthB2 and tomorrow its my lad. I bloody love live music.

I'll post some dates up in the new year and any London based fetchies are free to join us.

A good venue, Joopsy, I've only been 2-3 times but always enjoyed it. If beer's your thing, I'm a big fan of the King Charles I pub just round the corner on Northdown St.

Returning to costs, just booked for She Drew The Gun in March (I recall someone else on this thread mentioned going to see them). I can't remember the last time I paid less than a tenner for a gig!

I paid £33 a ticket to see Paul Heaton and Jacqui Abbott in June.

I think that is reasonable for his voice and song writing skills.

A bit different to what i normally go to see. Cant see there being a mosh pit!!!!

I can chart my life from 13 to now through Paul Heston. I saw them do small acoustic show at the Brudenell last year and he is still exceptional. One of the true great lyric writers of our generation.
