My ears are still ringing from oscillation and lumerians chief.
I think Blinders at Borderline was my favourite as the whole gang plus Ruth was there and it was a bonkers sweaty mess.
But 2Q was brilliant, bargain of the year definitely.

Hendo, there’s still 2 nights of the Wolfsbane tour left, Kidderminster tonight & Islington tomorrow. We’re going to Kidderminster tonight, very excited as they were superb in Cardiff on Thursday.

Going to see Fleetwood Mac in Berlin in June!
I'm not a huge fan, but my dad is. So his wife has paid for us all to go out there. I used to live in Berlin as a kid, so have lots of happy memories from there.

Over the 3 gigs we went to over Christmas 2 were superb, 1 not so good.
Wolfsbane put on their usual excellent performances in Cardiff and Kidderminster. The support acts were a mixed bag. Spunk Volcano and the Eruptions, despite having an awful name were really good pop-punk, I’ll see them again. Nightblade, the support in Kidderminster, were probably the worst band either of us had ever seen.
Florence Black, local heroes from Merthyr, were tedious, I guess technically they were superb but it was a really dry, boring performance. We left about half way through their set, the hardcore fans down he font seemed to be loving it though. The support were Buffalo Summer, a band I really like, that sound like the Black Crowes, they were excellent & Pearler were Pearler, seen them before at the ComMUNIon, they’re a decent pub band.
Booked up for this coming year so far. Skid Row, Ferocious Dog, Slam Dunk/Punk In Drublic Festival, Steelhouse Festival & Stonedeaf Festival.

So after Joopsy mentioning the slow readers club yesterday... I've spent the morning on you tube and have tickets to their Norwich gig

I'd go and watch Spunk volcano and the eruptions based on the name alone.
Last time I did that it was Catfish and the bottlemen on the introducing stage at Leeds. Not a mistake I wish to revisit.

I went to see a band called Hoover My Love-rug based on name alone. Perhaps some groups need to spend more time thinking about the actual music.

Me, Hendo and Chief have a musical collaboration called Dickhead Dad. Sadly we haven't got to the making music phase yet but we have spent time choosing song titles. Piston Milkshake and 45 minutes for a fucking pizza are two favourites.
