You should see a list of the map products installed, and if they are active for that activity type or not.

Hadn’t realised that was golf courses (I don’t play golf…) so I’ve stopped the download as I don’t require that. Sam, it’s currently got Worldwide basemap, TopoActive Europe North East, TopoActive Europe South West and Ski Map. So I think I need TopoActive North America for my travels.

If I didn’t buy anything and just plotted a route in advance and used the base map, what would the navigation be like? I’ll just be in cities so I won’t be out in the middle of nowhere.

flanker Jan 2023 10:42pm, 19 Jan 2023 20,795 posts	0 flanker You should be able to use a track anywhere as it's just a set of datapoints and it will provide route tracking and turn alerts if they are set in the gps file. What you won't get is turn-by-turn based on the underlying mapping data.
