But given the cost of my new Fenix, for the sake of around £3, I consider it to be a no-brainer now. The missus got a nasty scratch on her 230 within the first week and has been upset that she didn't use one for the past 5 years.

larkim Jun 2021 4:26pm, 21 Jun 2021 14,840 posts	0 larkim When I bought my 645 (still in the box awaiting birthday) I bought a screen protector too on the basis that I've so often scratched something on day 1 I'd rather try the protector at first and if I hate it for some reason I can take it off easily enough.

K5 Gus Jun 2021 5:55pm, 21 Jun 2021 4,535 posts	0 K5 Gus I took a heavy fall wearing a fenix 5 sapphire on a rocky path - casing was badly scratched, but not a mark on the screen. When I upgraded to the 6s made sure I got the sapphire again and no need for screen protectors
