Is it just me or are the beeps very quiet ? At lap alerts for instance, I struggle to hear them. Mind you, OH says I never listen, anyways.

I'll start putting tape on it then I think, because I can guarantee mine will break 1 day after the warranty wears out!
I didn't know runs could be deleted... that's a bonus because mine is taking longer and longer every time I download because it's going through all the previous ones too

Can any one tell me how to get the garmin to recognise a new HRM?
I had to buy a new one cos the rubber bits where the band fits had split (due to me having to use a different band, because the garmin one doesn't go small enough).
I am sure it must be in the instruction manual, but I can't find it.

Try Main Menu > Settings > General > Accessories. Select an accessory, then select 'Yes'. Not sure if it works, but hey-ho.

park bench, that did work, i had to select 'no' and then 'yes' to change from one hrm to the other.
