Cheg Sep 2022 6:54pm, 8 Sep 2022 3,848 posts	0 Cheg Really enjoying it. I’ve not read the books so not got any spoilers. A couple of characters I’m struggling to warm to, but it’s coming. Difficult not to continually compare to Game of Thrones.

And Matt Smith was amazing, he didn't even speak in that final scene. It deserves a re-watch as there's so much going on, but I think I will wait until the end then start over. I haven't read the relevant book so no idea how it's all going to play out. As an aside, I watched the first two episodes of Lord of the Rings/The Rings of Power and found it quite twee and lacking after GoT/HotD. There was something about the CGI that was too obvious, too overdone, and the characters just don't have the complexity of the GoT world. I think GoT has spoiled me for that genre, I tried Vikings a few years back and found it lacking too!

You will now.😱 I agree about the suicide mission, but I think they’re trying to get across that he’s both mentally unstable, so would try that sort of thing to not owe his brother for anything, and able to do things that will make him legendary. If only Rickon Stark had learned to dodge like him though.😉
