Still a lot of anger and disappointment out there. I’m cautiously optimistic about how this will go. It is based on a story that GRRM has actually finished, which is a good thing. However it’s written as a history written in Westeros by Septons and Maesters etc rather than as a novel so there’s a fair bit of interpretation of events open to the show runners.

The last season could have had 4 or 5 more episodes to give us more of why things went as they did, but Danny had always said she would take what was hers with fire and blood and that’s where we got to.
