Geordiegirl thanks I am still devastated and it has been four weeks I think because he was just 15 months old and my constant companion and had him from 5 weeks old.
Well done MM on getting back to normal weight.
I jumped on old scales for my viseral fat number and 8 not sure how good or bad it is so must do a search or find the instruction booklet it came with.

Oh my word that is so young must have been a huge shock to you. We lost our first dog very suddenly and unexpected he was 10 but he’d been by my side all through a long illness and I felt devastated when he left. It doesn’t go away but it will ease in time sending hugs x

1lb off this week, which is modest but sort of feels like consolidating previous losses, as it’s now over 11lb off in 5 weeks. Tantalisingly still 0.4lb short of my initial target, but I’m sticking to my guns on that one, I will achieve and surpass it in 6 weeks.
I’ve been super-duper fit this morning - a slightly truncated gym workout, followed by a swim, though fewer lengths than I would normally do. Sort of a workout and a half in total.
I did think about skipping breakfast - periods of fasting being good for getting blood glucose down…. It is definitely creeping up since that last injection of the drug I now can’t get started wearing off. But I was famished when I got home, so I’ve had my usual 2-egg omelette with cheese and a couple of baby tomatoes, and I’m ready to face the day.
Boditrax scanner thingy still not working…. although according to the reception lady when I asked about it, she said you have to be logged out of the app when you do the scan. Weird, because you can use a bar code on the app to log in to the machine - why would they offer that, if it made it not work? I didn’t have my phone on me, so couldn’t log out and try again like she suggested, so it’ll have to wait till next time.

I just wanted to pop in as I’ve been in and out of here a couple times over the years.
Just to remind everyone today that is frustrated with the scales, or is using those as a focus, that they don’t tell the whole story.
There is 0.5kg between these 2 pics, which are 1 November and 31 Jan

Thank you for that. What a difference
Wish I had taken a photo at the start of the year. I might still do as I want to tone up a good bit more.

Thank you GF - a very welcome reminder!
After a rather unfocused couple of weeks I'm 0.7kg down from last weigh in (which was two weeks ago, I was away from scales last Friday), and 3kg overall since 5th Jan. I would still love to lose another 5kg or so by the end of March so will keep plodding. I'm doing a more detailed "accountability" entry each week in my blog - for buddies only but happy to add anyone who's interested.
