GF - amazing progress you've made there. Quite right that weight does not tell the story.

Gymfreak. Looking good there. I'm going to take body measurements see if they change. 🤔

I've lost 0.4kg since my last weigh in, and ran a consistent time at parkrun this morning. So although I've made a couple of compromises on food this week, overall improvement is good.

Yesterday after work before dinner was the first time I'd felt the desire to snack for a long time, so I did grab some crackers and fruit.

I'm in a positive mindset about my week with my mum and have checked out the local council sports centre where I think I can pay to go for a swim, or use the gym so I should be able to run, row and cycle a bit. And I'm planning on doing Stanley Park parkrun next Saturday :-)

I do 4x Bootcamp consistently a week as well as running or riding every day, it’s mostly weights. I also do quite a bit of Pilates at home as I have problems with a herniated disc.

I didn’t starve myself or feel like I was on a diet (was never hungry) but did cut a lot of junk, increased protein/fruit/salads and made sure I did 10k steps a day as well (easy to do on run days but on bike days would do extra steps, walking a mile each way at 6am to bootcamp etc. Otherwise they don’t happen as I WFH at a desk) Things like sandwiches and cereal got binned. Chocolate and crisp consumption down. To be honest if it’s n the house I’ll eat it so I really need to just avoid buying crap as it makes me feel crap. It was easy to keep going with it as I genuinely felt so much better and energised

I will add I don’t actually weigh myself because I just can’t really be bothered but I did at start of Nov when we did this group challenge thing and I did when I sent the pics in Jan out of interest. Only difference was basically noise as it was less than a kg! It was more about how I felt than how I looked anyway, but the pics tell more of a story than the scales that’s for sure!

Thanks for those posts Gymfreak. I took a 'before' photo several years back. Unfortunately, if I took another now, I think I would look much the same. But I probably should anyway - to remind me what I really look like! :)
