Snuck back below the Never Again line, thank goodness. More walking and less pastry!

Well that was a productive week for me, which is good. A drop of 5lb and so I am now ONLY 19 stone exactly. I am still only walking but that will be the case for sometime as I don't want injuries just yet.

It's good to hear that others are fighting the fight and managing to get positive results. I salute you all for your determination and perseverance. Those that are not getting their desired results stick with it and keep in moving, it will happen.

Have a great week all and may the steps be with you. šŸ‘£šŸ‘£šŸ‘£šŸ‘£

Afternoon everybody - and welcome back RevBG. I'm another who has popped back here after a long break.

Yesterday I got the bags of leaf mould from behind our shed. It was 2022's leaves and had rotted down beautifully and has now been spread around our flower borders. And I started chopping up the leaves from Autumn 2023 and have put them behind the shed, to rot down ready for 2025.

I surprised myself by managing to get up and out for an early 7am walk this morning. Was really pleased with my pace today (3.9mph). Not sure why I was faster than usual, but I'm not complaining! :)

Mrs WM has gone out for a walk - meanwhile, as its Sunday, I'm busy cooking a Sunday roast (I give Mrs WM a break from cooking at the weekends).

I'll weigh in and update the spreadsheet tomorrow.

Not a parkrunner myself DQ. When I stopped running, I decluttered my race shirts as i didnt need so many. So I just kept the few that brought back happy memories ..

I couldn't bear to part with any of my race shirts WtnMel! I've kept all my parkrun milestone shirts too though I'm a bit away from my blue one (500) - only 164 to go!

Back from meal
Definitely used up any calorie deficit from the week but it was really nice.

So Iā€™m happy

As I said before Iā€™m expecting a year lot get slowly where I want to be so happy to steadily progress whilst still enjoying life

4 runs commutes this week which garmin says will use 4000+ calories plus some walking and strength work which is what I hope my weeks will be so in theory I should lose 1lb a week

Anyone looking for nice teas, I can recommend this company birdandblendtea.com

I bought their Christmas Blends Box for my son-in-law's Christmas and he loves them. I've just bought the Birthday Cake Gift Cube. Not my birthday but just fancied the selection :)

Only had two so far but they are just delicious! Much more flavour than any I've bought from supermarkets.
