Lost half a pound this week which is a bit of a result. Feeling motivated again but we’re off in the van on Friday for a week which always proves difficult when it comes to healthy eating. Will try harder than I usually do.
Want to lose at least half a stone before we go to Madeira on 5th February.

Sorry to hear your mum is back in hospital Mel, it is going to cause you to be concerned hope you can get a decent sleep tonight and also hope you enjoyed your meal.

There is always that extra pressure to be good post festivities but it’s also hard to just switch off esp with post Xmas celebrations. I use January as a reset month.

I am sure it will settle in time Linds, I often find it cant take a bit longer to show - up and down.

We went for a walk last night to clear my head, had a beer. Came home had a wine and then a bit of pizza - why?? I didn't need any of it. Sometimes it is a comfort and/or a habit.

I think I will go and make some soup for lunch and hide the wine tonight.

I made absolutely zero progress last year except from losing 3kg and then putting it back on again.

Back again with renewed determination and a better mindset. Will report on Friday.

I had my monthly body composition done at the gym today and delighted with the results.

I knew total weight would be down but encouraging to see the %ge decreases in abdominal and visceral fat and most important at my age, the increase in muscle mass 😊
Keep at it folks, consistancy is the key! πŸ‘

Well done DQ.

Gave myself a wee taster of the main gym hall today. Wasn't too busy so a trainer was on hand to show me the ropes. Need to start using the gym more than just classes

Same here LindsD - I thought that was it as far as xmas food was concerned now we've had our U3A 'festive lunch'. But Mrs WM has reminded me there is still a HUGE xmas cake waiting to be dealt with. Ho hum :)

In other news, my Mum has been moved from A&E to a ward and is on oxygen, IV antibiotics and fluids. My sister tells me she is looking better than she has for a few days. I'm looking forward to seeing her again tomorrow (4hr round trip so not ideal, hence me staying overnight when I visit). Anyway, enough of that ..

In better news, I managed to get out for an early walk this morning (3.5mls at 16:16mm pace). I have yoga this afternoon - I just hope when we lay on the floor to relax, I'm not the one who nods off ;)

Glad mum is improving.

I struggled at the gym today. Elliptical was ok but wattbike session I felt exhausted- then remembered I gave blood Monday night!!
