Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Hmm, for those of us that use mechanical scales, entering to the nearest pound is ideal, as i have no finer knowledge, also not sure its worth entering a change that is 0.5lbs or 500g or less imo

So you should be ok to go with (say) 12st 0.9lbs as being not significantly different to 12st 1lb then?

I'm beginning to feel like an anally retentive oddball - I weigh myself every day in lbs, always to 1 decimal point and plot that in an excel spreadsheet to give me a trend line so I can see over time whether my weight is going down or up.

Am the only person that weighs with a decimal point?! :-) Perhaps I need help!

I appreciate the addition of the lbs to the pulldown menu but it is still more restictive than being able to enter your own value - but as it seems to only affect me I wouldn't worry about it unduly Fetch! I'll keep logging in my excel spreadsheet and stop poopooing your hard work!

I use the decimal point but MFP rounds it down (which is nice) or up (which is not so nice).

My scale gives decimal points AND automatically stores it on a server at Withings HQ. Automatically generates the progress graph as well.

I have to confess to finding just lbs confusing. I have to think that 10 stone is 140lbs then add on the other lbs to it. So stones would help. My scales do half and quarter lbs but I just round up or down!

My ‘official’ weights are from my SW weigh ins and their scales only weigh whole and half pounds.
