We are heading off for 5 days staying with friends who live in Dorset. There will be walking and swimming..... but potentially also cream teas and cooked breakfasts, so it’s a balancing act. Mostly I intend to enjoy myself.
I know for sure that the email I get tomorrow morning will show a decent loss for the past week. The next one will be based on only 2 WI’s after we get home.

STS this week. Big eating out weekend last week, stressful week at work, PMT and too many snacks creeping in at night since I wasn't prepared enough when I got in from gym. Back to meal prepping lunch and dinner this week with emphasis on filling veg and protein.

Non weight related but I went to my crazy lap’s run... managed 8 which gave me 27miles. A distance and marathon PB to book. I was powered by Haribos and currently waiting for the chinese takeaway I’ve craved for 3 months.
Hope you’ve all had a good weekend. I may not be ready for Monday!!!

Laps run? Please explain (but well done)
Down 2.4lb this week :-). Will need to be careful, though as I probably overdid it yesterday.

It was a 7hr run event where you ran as many of as few 3.28m laps as you chose, I managed 8 in 6h3m and total of 27miles.
I’ll be eating like a horse today!

Wow, respect, GG!
I joined one of our friend for her morning swim this morning. First time I’ve tested the swim-tracking facility of my Garmin Vivoactive 3. I did 26 lengths (650m) in 33:40, which included 2x 30s rests. First time I’ve swum since our summer holiday in 2017 - my arms are feeling it!

Well done GG, that’s amazing!
Well done to Rev B and anyone else who has lost.
After a few weeks of staying the same I have lost 1lb this week - not sure how as we stayed over with friends on Friday, so had dinner on Friday and lunch on Saturday out, then lunch out yesterday back here.
Think my weight loss attempts may be about to get even trickier - whilst running has never really seemed to do much to help me lose weight, I fear not running would quickly lead to putting it on, and I managed to pick up an injury after club run on Thursday. I’ve not run since (marshalled yesterday at a race I’d been supposed to be running :-(), and whilst the physio this morning doesn’t seem to think it was too serious - he said no running this week, see how I get on and call him later in the week - I think even if it’s just a week or two, it could have a big effect on my weight. I do have gym membership, and will try swimming, cycling etc, but it’s not the same.
