Another on returning from self imposed exile! I was was just so so fed up with everything! But ... been trying out something different since Monday and weighed in 1lb less than I was the last time I weighed myself. Probably have lost more than that as haven't gone near the scales for a few weeks but just know from my clothes. I can't remember if it was here or another thread, but someone mentioned the 21 Day Blast? Well I got the book secondhand on Amazon at the weekend, did a huge food shop to stock up on all the store cupboard items that most folk except me seem to have! In fact I have also bought a behind the door spice rack and extra shelving as we don't have that much storage space in our house! Must have been designed by a man!! No cupboard for hoover, brushes etc or airing cupboard for towels and bedding. But I digress! I haven't been following it 100% (yet) eg no grains or dried fruit but I have a stock of porridge and sultanas that I am not going to waste, so just lunches and evening meals so far. Poor OH is getting the same but luckily he has approved of all meals and would have them again. ![]() I have also been using this site for recipe ideas olivemagazine.com I'm still logging on MFP but it it easy to migrate the recipes from here but the Blast ones have to be built from scratch. Am enjoying the meals so quietly optimistic the loss will continue, especially if I can try to get more active as the weather hopefully improves. I'm only really doing parkrun at the moment or the very occasional run with OH as just can't seem to motivate myself to do something by myself. Wow! that should have been a blog!! Just a little hello from me. I've adjusted the weight tracking page (for those of you that use it) to make it a bit easier to enter stones/pounds - no more working out that 12st10 = 178lbs. Thanks Fetch - I'm a bit confused though as I work completely in lbs - I have no idea what my weight is in stones or kg. Is there somewhere where I can enter my weight in lbs still?

Looking at the spreadsheet over there >>>> It looks like I am in a minority working in lbs so the majority rules I guess! ![]() Just another thought though - others seem to be logging 1/2lb or even 1/4lb changes which might be harder to do with the new system? |

STS both at home and at SW this week. I did really hope some of my 1.05lbs would have gone but at least it's not another gain. I have got outside this week and had a few more runs so hopefully that is what helped. I am out tonight and then next Friday but nothing in between so that should be easier to keep on track. Well done to any losers Yeah couldn't log my true weight as it doesn't let you record any smidgens you might have ![]() |

I'm not normally a metric kind of girl, but have found over the last few years that using kgs for my weight is better for me mentally. I know how exactly how fat I am when it comes to stones and pounds, but kilograms just don't have the same emotional link.

Some minor adjustments: 1) the drop-down box now also includes the number of pounds alongside stones-and-pounds and kilograms. 2) I've included an extra decimal place on the pounds. The drop down is generated in 0.1kg increments, so it's not flawless, but it is now hopefully clearer. |
