That's brilliant. You are doing so well, LD.
Unlike me :) Another sts this week. I've had a few carbs in the last 3 days - dumplings with our stew and I made a polenta cake yesterday so we had some last night - so I know the cause. I just need to be a bit more "on plan" for the next couple of weeks if I am going to see a loss in March. The upside is that I know when I get to goal, I can have a few carbs and not gain as long as I don't go mad.

I'm looking forward to getting to my goal but not sure how easy it'll be not to go back to my old ways. I hope I'll not fall by the wayside too often.

Yesterday's meal felt like a lot of food and though it was nice I did feel the pastry on the tartlet wasn't needed - a frittata would have been just as good - and we didn't need pommes mousseline *and* dauphinoise (I still ate both though 🙄)

The occasional treat meal should be ok or life would be very dull. As long as it doesn't become the norm.

On The Wagon.
What's the easiest way to batch cook chicken breasts for salad/dinner, so they still taste nice? I usually bake or poach in stock, but would the slow cooker be good?

Morning losers :-)

I’ve been absent from Fetch and life in general for a week or so but easing myself back into the game.
No weekly weigh in either, claiming birthday weigh i exemption ;-)

I would think the slow cooker, LW. It keeps chicken succulent, but I've not batch cooked so can't say for sure.
Birthday greetings, IT :)

Hi IT, have been bit absent too but back on it (although on annual leave this week so a tad harder).

I really want to end March weighing less than I did when starting March!

Realised why my blood group book went in the loft, it's not for me so if anyone would like the book send me your address and will stick in the post 😁

If anyone wants a brand new PON book I have one I’ll happy post on...it’s not for me.
Ready to give BSD a try next week but I think I might be the same as it certainly wasn’t for me when I did Atkins and the more I look through this book it’s the same.....even if I could shift the first week just to get my metabolism moving
