Podcast length - just right for me. Ideally anything 40 - 50 mins or so, but shorter (if pushed for time) or longer is also fine. It sounds more like a friendly chat than a 'podcast'.
Great report ITG - shame it didn't include the bit in the Edinburgh car hire office? (Did they enforce the extra money or ever take pity?)
Sorry about your uncle, Katie, but pleased you had & knew someone like that and can remember the good times. Even the moaning about filling the car with petrol just before being admitted.
I like the relaxed style, and I wouldn't want you to cut anything out, especially not the site chat or the featured Fetchies. 40 minutes is perfect, but any length at all is good.
I have been known to get out at the deep end, as well as dive in there. And a lane to oneself is swimming pool nirvana. My local pool as a kid had a glass wall close by one side but the view wasn't great. When the sun was shining brightly it was quite uncomfortable and unsettling.

My regular volunteering is teaching a Brazilian nun English. I've also just joined the football club parent council but I don't think that counts because it is for my own kid.
If of interest, and sorry, nothing to do with the podcast, I found (Avis in Sydney) for 1 day - in office with all my frequent user & ex-corporate benefits - $150. On Avis web site (while at the office) - $80. On BA website $70. Office mgr just sighed and said 'that's the way it is'. So I booked via BA and he got the car ...]
