I thought Danny was always leaning towards "The Cult of parkrun" which was occasionally annoying but he clearly cares about it deeply. Nicola always seemed to be a bit of a steadying influence on him. I've drifted away from it as i'm not really much of a runner these days rather than because I didn't like it. It just stopped being relevant to me.

Once bumped in to Nicola round the back of Crummock Water on an early morning run, stopped to have a chat, she'd been camping and was out for a run before packing up. Didn't realise who she was until listening to the following podcast!

I've met Danny a couple of times in real life, where he comes across much better than on the podcast. I once had a chat with Nicola after a parkrun without realising who she was.

How good is this podcast? I just wanted to start a thread of appreciation :-)

although you may disagree. I find Danny to be spot on 99% of the time and Nicola is entertaining and between them they have balance. I find it an enjoyable listen most of the time and informative. What do others think? If you parkrun and don’t know this podcast I encourage you to give it a go…

All that said I cant listen to it in the car too often as my wife protests…and she is a parkrunner so my feelings wont...
