The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free.
But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient.
Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead.
Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?
On a hunger scale of one to ten I was 3 before listening to Rosehip's segment and 8 after it finished. That sounded like a right proper running buffet.
Listened on my run today, great episode! Well done the Jigs's for doing the double, and to Rosehip, really enjoyed listening to your LDWA event.
I used to give blood too but am no longer eligible because I've had a long term auto-immune illness. It's a shame because I've got one of the really rare blood groups.
Thanks Mr and Mrs Fetch, and I'm really in awe of your swimming training and racing Katie, especially as a non swimmer myself. I never knew that they put aid stations on buoys!
Thanks for yet another great episode and yes I was about 100 yards from my destination so it was a brilliant length. It has been a few years since I last gave blood as I was refused for being on thyroid meds so guess it's time to make that call.
Only just started listening in the car on the way to work...……. when I heard the sirens I was eyes everywhere looking for blue lights wanting to know when to pull over...……. until Katie said 'can you hear the siren' doh, lol. Looking forward to listening to a bit more on the way home.
FF, I've done that when there's been the sound of a siren, or similar to that sound on the radio. There was one particular song a while back that used to get me every time
The siren on the podcast made me wonder too. We've had fires for months in my state and others. We've had weeks of hazardous air quality due to the smoke from them. It's like a constant fog, sometimes orangey if the sun is trying to get through at dawn and dusk. Apocalyptic.

Contributors We love getting contributions. Here's how:
1) find somewhere with minimal background noise 2) recording on a smartphone is fine 3) start with "Hello Fetchies, it's..." 4) a couple of minutes is a good length 5) don't worry about ums, aahs and pauses. We can edit them out. 6) email the file to podcast@fetcheveryone.com
