Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

True, I think @Velociraptor @Ness and @Mrs Jigs (Luverlylegs) may have all mentioned making an appearance at parkrun too. Sigh was definitely just coming to the track, not sure on the others.

Oh, and my better half and our daughter may well be at both too.

The 5yo is a little crazy, consider yourselves warned... 😂

I expect to be at parkrun and the café :) And I wonder if I still have the ability to get a 5 year old bouncing off the walls then walk away without a thought to what I'm leaving their parents to deal with.

I'm doing parkrun, and all the track things, and the Tamworth 10k on the Sunday. So that will need a lot of cake at the cafe.

We’re coming down after breakfast as we can’t leave the dog all day so will be going straight to the track.

Dogs are not allowed at the track, but there's a large car park with lots of grass around (though not sure I would feel happy leaving my dog in a vehicle as you cannot see you car park from the track) 🤔

About This Thread

Maintained by Gooner
Come one, come all! After a little procrastination on my part, the Fetch meet in Tamworth is on. The track is booked for 12:00 - 14:00 allowing time for Tamworth Castle Grounds parkrun and a social coffee & cake before the event for those that want to. There is a little cafe at the parkrun that we used last time so hopefully they'll be able to accommodate us again. Spread the word, the more the merrier!
