Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Sigh
I'm happy to do all the track events, I just don't expect to record impressive times for any of them :-)

Flat, road shoes, and quite bendy, hellen :)

I like to do the shorter distances for a laugh. Couldn't crack 20s for 100m even when I was a teenager.

I will do them all if I get the chance, however I am doing Tamworth the next day and am 4st heavier than the last time I did them so I won't be going fast either way 🙈😂

I'm planning to enter the Tamworth 10k but will just doodle round gently if I've kiboshed my legs on the track.

It's a pretty good track at Tamworth.

Have a great day, sadly I'll be in Tyne and Wear at National Trophy Cyclocross.

I have just entered the 10k. I won't exactly be well-rested, but probably a good opportunity for a training run then a week to recover for Shepshed.

I think my school 100m time was 19s and I was spectacularly unsporty, so I'm interested to see what I do it in now. 400m was my absolute maximum collapse-in-a-heap distance, so at least I'm better on that front.

About This Thread

Maintained by Gooner
Come one, come all! After a little procrastination on my part, the Fetch meet in Tamworth is on. The track is booked for 12:00 - 14:00 allowing time for Tamworth Castle Grounds parkrun and a social coffee & cake before the event for those that want to. There is a little cafe at the parkrun that we used last time so hopefully they'll be able to accommodate us again. Spread the word, the more the merrier!
