NO, perhaps it's time to be very selective in the freebies that you accept, if it doesn't come in then it doesn't need to be decluttered.

Raptors Claws are coming to town
N-o, I believe you are my twin. I have a collection of small bottles of bath emollients and anti-inflammatory gels that I'll never use but can't quite find them useless enough to throw out.

When I moved house I threw away a large box of small hotel toiletries. Some were years old!

We've managed to use up most of the hotel toiletries we've brought home. Staying in the sort of hotels that have soap dispensers instead of little plastic bottles has limited our acquisition of cute little single-use toiletries.

OK, I'll admit it - I am a 'hotel collector'.
We have more pens than we will use in this or any future life. Do you think Marriott pens will ever become collectors items or valuable?
I did declutter all the hotel hair net things, but I think I have enough soap, shampoo, shower gels etc to see me through.
I have disposed of moist of my airline tat (eyeshades, cheap socks) - but the small tubes of shaving gel are useful for travelling.

I quite like pens and looking at my table here at the moment I can see 4 pens and a pencil.

I am a pen magpie. At work I used to appear in reception every few months with a fistful or two of pens I'd walked away with. I was the same with tourniquets as a hospital doctor. In fact, somewhere in my home or outbuildings is a little stash of now-contraband reusable fabric tourniquets.

I no longer steal hotel toiletries - thank god! I have a hard enough time throwing away the free little bag of stuff you often get on overnight flights.

".... This month, each of you must get rid of one thing on the first day. On the second, two things. Three items on the third. So forth, and so on. Anything can go! Clothes, furniture, electronics, tools, decorations, etc. Donate, sell, or trash. Whatever you do, each material possession must be out of your house—and out of your life—by midnight each day."
