Best of with it, GeordieGirl; it sounds as though it's getting you down rather. I've got some heirloom-y things that may just hang about until my own heirs have to make decisions about them.

Cleaned the fridge today; then decided to take all the fridge magnets off and clean the door. Then steeled myself and put all the fridge magnets in the bin.
Except two: one has the emergency number to be called in the event of a power cut; the other says: Gardening forever, housework whenever.

if you dont want the figures and dont need the money, i would still charity shop them. ive charity shopped lots that i could have sold, bt its definatley easier. ebay can be a false economy. the things i have sold have sold for the lowest bids, and its frustrating when you know worth more. and such a faff packaging and post office and then people chasing you up if it takes a day longer than the estimate to arrive i need to have another go at my wardrobe.... we should start a thread for all the stuff we dont want and offer to give away to each other. one fetchie's trash is another fetchie's treasure??

The Mighty Fleecy
I have a very high value threshold for selling stuff on eBay nowadays for those reasons. And if they’re vaguely valuable then actually that’s doing the charity shop a favour because it’s a good donation for them which they can make decent money out of.
My understairs cupboard is full of donation stuff now, I should probably drop some bags off at the clothes and book bins. I’m pretty ruthless nowadays

Very true Carp. I have no excuse as its just me
Taking some storage trays to charity shop, going to do some food shopping so can drop these off. Also decluttered 20 unusable pens and the box they were in. Still have plenty of pens
