Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Alright thanks!
My face has healed pretty well and although I still have a bruised/sprained left hand, I'm feeling fine. Haven't ventured out for a run though. Must do it soon before I lose more confidence. Weather doesn't make it very appealing though!

Sounds like all in the right direction there, I am still nervous of falling too, I think the only way over that is to just go easy and try and rationalise it slowly

I am running in trail shoes now for example.. just makes me feel a bit more firm footed

After another full two week break I ran today. And enjoyed it. I have agreed with myself to totally forget speed and just run and enjoy

Had a big weekend with a very close friend so mentally am in a much stronger place too

March 1st!
Spring actions afoot

Hope you are all good

Hi everyone! Sorry have been missing in action - work has gone absolutely crazy this week so no time for chatting in here.

Running has also taken a bit of a back seat, but I did manage to run home last night, which was good for the head and soul, even if the legs are complaining a bit after a week of inactivity!

Hope all are doing ok and that this sunshine is helping with the spirits?

Afternoon all - been very quiet from me I have been AWOL proper

Back now

Today is day 3 of Week 2:
- Decent 20min fast walk, admiring the very high tide and missing the Royals who has arrived mid high tide but we cant see them as cant get to the Yacht Club to nosey!

- Aim later is to go to the gym on the way home to run and then swim

- Food good today to date, overnight oats and home made "Tom&Jerry Chicken" *see below

Mood is good today, relaxed sitting up in the open plan working area head down on project work. Interesting stuff and some mundaine sorting/solving problems/emails

I am aiming to kick back into regular 30mins of "something" each day in March, get more air time, do more quiet work and generally be kind to myself

Good to see you all perking up and gearing into March springtime vibe :-)

How are you all this side of the week?

Iā€™m just back from a decent little outing although sadly the only run this week

Managed three lunchtime walk breaks though which is ace

Kick started a new 12 week planner today, taking it all one day at a time which seems wise in the current crazyness!

Hope you are all doing ok
