Nearly had a disaster today. Coming up the m74 from Hexham & pulled in to services for a drink & a pee.
Went to the caravan bit & parked in a designated bay. Went to the loo and came back sitting in the van waiting for the mrs to come from the shop.
Was glancing at the phone & looked up to see another van reversing centimetres away, I got on the horn like a madman.
It promptly stopped, then when the guy manoeuvred again, he rolled down his window & was shouting abuse to me like some kinda cartoon angry man.
I’d been stationary in a bay for 15 minutes ya fud.

Ready for tomorrows marathon! I love this campsite! It’s only an hour up the road! Fab weather and we’re in the ‘sunset field’

I haven’t hears the insult ‘fud’ in a while. Perfect example of its use there

Stayed in a cracking campsite this weekend, after cancelling the noisy one. South Whittlieburn Farm near Largs. Very friendly owner, nice food van onsite for breakfasts and surrounded by animals. The owner's dog visited our pitch and goats wander about the campsite.
