Yes, I'm not sure we'd use a microwave much. I just feel it might be a better use of the space than the grill. But then using the space for general storage is probably the best option!

To be honest, we pretty much design our cooking around the two burners. If it can't be done on them without necessitating part-way-through washing up, it's probably not on our (quite limited) list of meals.

Ridge Monkeys seem to get a lot of love from Camper King owners, as does the rather more bulky Cadac.

We use a Cadac Grill2 Braai which is a little bulky, but we have plenty of storage room for it under the bed.
I used to swear by charcoal bbqs when “camping” but so often we wouldn’t use up the charcoal in a season and when lighting it the following year it was so antisocially smokey. I think probably due to damp.
We haven’t looked back since getting the Cadac, and being nonstick, cleaning is so simple.

I used the microwave in the caravan but then it was the first time we had been away in it and I used everything 😂

Have just been all organised and booked Devizes between Christmas and New Year 😁

We rarely use the hob in the camper van, preferring the Cadac. We use the microwave to make porridge, to heat up meals that we've taken (homemade chilli, curry, stew) and to heat baked beans or mushy peas. I love mushy peas :)

I can feed 2 or 3 using two tiny meths/biogel burning trangias and the occasional use of my little folding bbq when we camp.

I don’t want a van “kitchen” I could cook a roast dinner in - I’m on holiday, I’d rather the pub did the cooking :)

We only had a grill and hob in Nora (the camper van) I do like to be able to make cheese on toast which is a basic staple of mine!

Helen (the new to us motor home) has a much bigger fridge and one of those oven/grill combos! I do like to be able to finish off ‘part baked’ petit pain in the oven then grill some bacon 😂😂😂
