It's been a long time since I've fake parkrunned - a serious dose of cba in July/August and then run the sum is my focus this month. Run the sum was 10k this morning so I could split that into a 5k warmup in 27:20 and a 5k fake pr in 26:08, but I feel that would be cheating.
Once run the sum is finished i want to get back into fake parkrun to test where I am with my running

Inaugural Bonnyfield parkrun at the Bonnyfield Local Nature Reserve, Bonnybridge. Course is largely between the Vale of Bonnyview and the Bonny Water. First finisher of two :-) in 35.19. A pleasant if unspectacular rolling course, surprisingly remote feeling, 80% hard trail, 20% tarmac.

I’m still working on finding the hilliest 5K / 3.1 miles ‘Parkrun’ from home. Tonight for the first time I cracked 700 feet but I ended up short at 2.87 miles :-(

Adding a bit of distance is easy because I’d fine tuned the route for shortness but don’t know if I can realistically get any more ascent

Good thread, Sigh.

I had an unusual one today. I was running 6 miles as part of run the sum and started the (not)parkrun at the 1.5 mile mark and finished at 4.62 miles.

Hello
Not sure if this counts as a fake parkrun but Saturday morning was a effort session 3 sets of 600,600,400 metres with 45 seconds rest between each effort and 3 mins rest between each set. Fetch has me going through 5k at 23:59 so will claim that as this weeks fakey

I did my fake parkrun as a 10K virtual race! Went through the first 5K (far too hard) in 21:00 the next one was 40secs slower!
