Jigs like to put the duvet cover on cerid's way, I have been doing it Fleecy's way for years and find it the best.

Do you use a garlic press? Isn't it a pain getting it clean, getting all the little bits of garlic out of the holes?
No. Just use a corn on the cob holder to poke out the detritus. You'll find the prongs are the perfect distance apart to clear two holes at a time.

[re the petrol gauge thingy, be aware that it's only been industry standard since about 2010 so on older cars it may not be correct]

Still on the petrol filling thing - the VWs we've had don't use the little clip inside the flap method, they have two notches in the rim of the cap that clip into the top of the flap. The Subaru has the clip on the back of the flap.
Not a new revelation, but I was truly impressed when Sam showed me that there are little clip points on the body of the vacuum cleaner that match a little tab on the back of the head so you can stand it without the hose falling all over the place.
Similarly I was shocked to discover that many cars have a hand grip thing built into the boot door so you can close it without having to get your hands dirty by touching the outside.

One of my jobs is to test CNAV's before the start of a mob so as well as GPS and GLONASS and Galileo there's also GNSS and a Chinese one too, whose name escapes me at and I don't have a CNAV on test at the moment.
