Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

I saw the oxo one on FB a while back and used it ever since. There is another one to to do with the packaging and how to use it properly but can’t for the life of me remember just now 🤦‍♀️

The one I saw recently was there are little tabs on the sides of aluminium foil packets, if you push them in, it hold the roll in place.

(I read this, I didn’t figure it out sadly)

[I came across this a couple of months ago - how come it took so long for this to come to light. Why was it kept a secret?]

There's one about opening triangle packs of sandwiches down the middle and they magically make a little plate for the sandwiches.

How to put a duvet cover on best (inside out and put the corners in then flip it over, especially for king size duvets it’s amazing and should be taught in schools)

I figured out that there’s a little plastic tab on the inside of the little cover to my petrol cap. And it’s for hanging the petrol cap on, so it doesn’t dangle against the paintwork.

Thanks Fetch, I'm going to check my car next time I fill up. I'm always wandering why it has to bang against the side of the car.

One doesn’t but then it’s a Volvo. The fucking thing suggested I take a break and go for a coffee when I was driving on an empty motorway the other day and brushing my hair since there were no cars about!

It also intermittently panics when it thinks I’m going to crash into other cars (without cause I should say). It definitely thinks it’s in charge. I wonder if it would tell me if I put the wrong fuel in?
