With you on the inside out quilt cover Fleecy - a huge timesaver! Not sure if this fits here but the best thing I found out a couple of years ago was that the little petrol pump symbol on the car dashboard has a little arrow next to it which points to the side of the car that has the petrol flap on! Every time I need petrol I study the symbol and have a little smile to myself because of how clever it is. (I’m well aware that I need to get out more) |

I remember a discussion on John Peels Home Truths radio show about putting covers on duvets where they decided that the best method was to give the corners of the duvet to two small children and send them inside of the cover. Not something I'll ever test, but if someone with kids wanted to volunteer to test it for science? |

My children would probably have found being inside the duvet cover hilarious and wouldn't have come back out until they'd found something to fight about and it all ended in tears.

Sue, I knew the petrol flap trick but what a lot of people don’t know if all the pumps have a long enough hose to reach both sides of the car! I always do to the first free pump and it’s typically one where the car is on the right of the pump. Although my flap is on the right, I can still use it.

Well I know that but too but I’m just tickled by the little arrow that tells me where it is 🤷♀️

The oxo cube one is neat! Re GLONASS: the way the chips handle GPS + GLONASS or GPS +Galileo is if they can see n of one constellation and m of another, they combine the signals to give a lock equivalent to n+m-1 of one constellation (the one being used to synchronise the time signals between the constellations). It’s clever interoperability rather than one or the other. |

I figured out quite recently that if I brush my teeth before I have a shower at bed-time I don’t have to brush them afterwards but can go straight to bed

This is undoubtedly the best way to get a duvet cover on: I have been doing it for about a year now and it still amazes me every time. Small things. |
