(Do you like asian food, GM ? There’s a fab restaurant that does “small” plates of food from all over. The food is amazing and it’s quite cheap. They also do great cocktails

My Newt was a fabulous day with my niece at the open air museum! We were going somewhere together and that was where she wanted to go! My mum used to take her and her brother there. It is also one of the very few things I used to do with my mum. We had a fabulous time! I had never been there with her before. It was also our first proper day together without anyone else there, just the two of us heart
I also ended up buying my sister and husband a newt firepit with cooking things so they can have a fire AND cook on it in their garden.

Soo, awesome, I've never picked it to use. Must be lovely.

Missus and I going for a spot of lunch, just two of us and taking dog for a walk. Of course it's not new, but it probably is first time for months not taking Mum or meeting Sis or taking son, grandson etc. Important I think!

Have a great Good Friday everyone. :-) G

Ran the opposite way round the park this morning. I've done it before but not for probably over a year. Also walked a bit after my run and sat in the sun

It's a shame we came home this morning. I'll put it on the list for our next visit.

My newt was walking with my walking group this morning, that in itself wasn't a newt but I managed to drag a friend along to it too, he's been wanting to walk with them since last autumn but needed me to motivate him along. He really enjoyed it and is going to go again :)

About This Thread

Maintained by Sharkie
Most of you know the score. Much in the bizarre way Easter has come to mean Chocolate, Lent is mainly thought of as an opportunity to Give Up Chocolate. At least until Easter. You know what I mean, 'What are you giving up for Lent?' * I say NO to this. Away with the hair shirts and the deprivation. Let's embrace change and the NEW. Spring is a time of renewal - and restoration.

Soooooo..... you don't have to take up indoor sky diving like my partner's 90 year old mot...
