Saw my first bluebells of the year, and plenty of them. Also inhaled my first fly of the fly-swallowing season.

Lol, a club mate did full on fly swallow while we were run-yacking yesterday!

Bluebells are at least 2 weeks away up here. Frozen north! :-) G

Shouldn't be a Newt really, but the four of us have been out for a meal just as a four for the first time this year!

I ran a route that I often do, clockwise today - I think I have always run it anti-clockwise before now

I successfully used a hand held stop watch for the first time ever at track tonight.

My set was 2 x 80, 2 x 70 and 2 x 60. The final 60m was 11.38 (84.16% which is really not bad as a training rep from a standing start. It is so good to get proper 100/ths!

Todays newt of the day is Rosehip and her exploradventure. I enjoy reading blogs of her explorations and hope that by selecting this, it will encourage her to do plenty more this year.

More Liverpool newts for me - a Beatles themed bus tour, learning things about the individuals and songs they wrote; we visited Penny Lane and Strawberry Field. Later we went to The Cavern Club and had a good sing and dance to the Beatles themed acts playing live music this afternoon. Good times.

About This Thread

Maintained by Sharkie
Most of you know the score. Much in the bizarre way Easter has come to mean Chocolate, Lent is mainly thought of as an opportunity to Give Up Chocolate. At least until Easter. You know what I mean, 'What are you giving up for Lent?' * I say NO to this. Away with the hair shirts and the deprivation. Let's embrace change and the NEW. Spring is a time of renewal - and restoration.

Soooooo..... you don't have to take up indoor sky diving like my partner's 90 year old mot...
