Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Yep, some goodies today and a fine choice from AL of Gimme's ferry cross the Mersey. Must admit I loved Pix knitting at the races. :-)

.B., Raffo and I had lunch in the Dragon Bar here in Hastings. Not a new place but none of us had eaten there before. Ice cream cones on the seafront - first time this year too.

Run 2 week 2 of c25k with youngest today, and a different location. We saw a duck with 9 teeny tiny new ducklings.

Loving the newts today.

I haven't seen any ducklings either, but I saw my first bluebells of the year this evening.

I have seen ducklings this spring, but I can’t remember where or when

Good choice, I still haven’t been on the ferry - must do that next time I visit daughter.
First ice cream on the sea front this year is a lovely sunny positive newt, roll on summer.

How smelly were the ransoms by the Eden, V’rap? Is that where the bluebells were - remember them being v plentiful between Sheepmount and the Eden bridge

Yes, just along there, Rosehip. Only a couple of small clumps so far, and from the amount of wild garlic foliage I suspect it will soon be very smelly.

Most of you know the score. Much in the bizarre way Easter has come to mean Chocolate, Lent is mainly thought of as an opportunity to Give Up Chocolate. At least until Easter. You know what I mean, 'What are you giving up for Lent?' * I say NO to this. Away with the hair shirts and the deprivation. Let's embrace change and the NEW. Spring is a time of renewal - and restoration.

Soooooo..... you don't have to take up indoor sky diving like my partner's 90 year old mot...
