I'll take Gobi's draw in the first test.
Especially if we do our usual 27-3 start...

Tendulkar 38no overnight in his final test. Odds on one last ton? That'd be the way to go out...

Needs another 115 to get to 16000 runs.
Interestingly, his run total before his final innings was the same as India's date of independence:
15847 = 15/8/47!

Just had a nosey at the team playing in the warm-up game.
I'm thinking that Anderson for Rankin will be the only change for the first test.
Unless Prior makes a speedy recovery. I think Bairstow is playing in his best position now - no 7 and WK.

I do hope Finn gets a game and plays well. I listened to Tuffers and Vaughan the othet night and they had it spot on, Finn is there to blast them out not bowl line and length....
I am worried about th bowling though, looks a bit samey apart from Swann and Anderson.

Samey = 2 similar bowlers, and 2 completely different ones?
You would never have let Garner, Holding, Roberts and Croft on a field together. Which a lot of batsmen would have thanked you for.

Broad/Finn tend to get their wickets differently too. Broad's best spells have come when he has pitched it up and swung it. Finn has tended to do batsmen with sharp bounce off a length.

Back to Tendulkar - I'd say he has no chance of finishing with a century

I think they will pick Tremlett for the first test.
