One series against Pakistan aside, we've been playing some of the best cricket of any England team ever (at least in terms of results) over the past few years, yet quite a few of you are mired in defeat and misery already.
Not often that I get to say this, but POSITIVE THINKING people. I bet the Aussies under Waugh and Ponting were never saying, well we've played so well for the last few years, but this time Warney will chuck pies and McGrath will break down and Langer will be LBW first ball etc....

It was a 3-0 victory in a test series and while I agree that the scoreline probably flattered England, they were still clearly the better team by some margin.
The Aussie bowling looks pretty feeble, the batsmen are pretty much the same people that England's bowlers knocked over in the summer. Home advantage obviously counts for sometihng & I suspect England will be happy with a draw at the Gabba, very few touring teams win there. Some fairly bad weather in Queensland in the past few days, not sure whether that's expected to affect the game.
